Pretty much all the Ro episodes are fantastic, Michelle Forbes in general has been in a lot of things but she’s still underused.
And yeah DS9 is, to my mind, even better than TNG, which was already amazing. Kira is probably my personal favourite character though Sisko is close behind and hell Dax, Odo, O’Brien, Bashir, god I love all those guys.
You really enjoyed all of TNG, even S1 which, to me, as a long-time fan, is kind of painful, and it’s sounds like you’re loving DS9. So I think give Voyager a chance. Voyager a lot of problems. Really big problems. It has some episodes that are best skipped (of course so do TNG and DS9, just nearly so many), but it is still Star Trek, and particularly from S3/4 onwards, it mostly improves up to the end - there’s still a lot of bum stuff but once they’re free of the trite and irritating adversaries and issues of the early seasons, it does get better.
Enterprise only lasted four seasons, and whilst at the time I liked it more than VOY, attempting to re-watch it, and even thinking about it, I’ve got more time for VOY. I mean I was massively biased towards Enterprise because I basically guessed the entire premise including the visual design of the ship and uniforms, right down to the tones used, like two years before it came out (temporarily making people on a Star Trek forum impressed with me lol), and I was certain it’d be good.
But it wasn’t. A lot of the problem was with the initial showrunners, who also ran VOY (and had worked on TNG and DS9, but not been the full showrunners). Fundamentally they were lazy. I mean maybe 7 years of VOY burned them out, but then they shouldn’t have been running the show! They did stuff like used unused VOY scripts for some of the ENT episodes, just editing them as necessary, rather than writing something that was truly about the crew, ship, and mission - that was something that just antithetical to TNG and DS9 - they were always specific to that crew, that ship, etc.
Eventually, I think in S3, another person became the effective showrunner (though Berman and Braga remained technically in charge IIRC), then it started to improve slowly and steadily. And just when it gets decent? They ended it. With a legendarily insulting final episode.
So yeah I’d say VOY if you continue to enjoy DS9. And maybe skip both if you don’t (though given DS9 basically only gets better, I’d be surprised!). Only if you had a good time in VOY even consider ENT. All imho, YMMV etc.
I dunno if I loved it quite as much as you, but nothing you’re saying there is wholly inaccurate - and yeah it’s very RTD meets Buffy meets refusal to consistently follow standard tropes.
