I still remember one Protoss campaign mission I had where I got slaughtered and only had a single drone and a few buildings left in one small corner of the map that the enemy ignored. All remaining resources where at the other end of the map and I had to go past tons of enemies to get there. So I spent hours escorting my single drone to them and back again until I had enough to start expanding. It got rather tense.
I won, after something like 24 hours.
It’s one of the best Starcraft games I’ve had.
Juggling Factorio and Warframe. Even though I have nothing but time, it’s still hard to find enough, but Warframe has gone pretty quiet the past few days. I’m done with Nightwave season 1 and there isn’t really much to do, so I just do the daily sortie and little else. But a new update should appear this week, with lots of new stuff, and probably Nightwave season 2, so things will pick up again and … then I’ll run out of time.
I did ‘win’ my first game of Factorio, but of course, it doesn’t end when you win, so there’s still plenty to do (but I only have one copper patch anywhere near my very large base, so there’s a lot of waiting around. And moving everything to a new area is daunting because the biters are at a rather disgruntled stage).
Also spent some hours in Guild Wars 2 for the first time in 15 months or so (the Price thing made me dissatisfied with Areanet, so I didn’t feel like supporting them for a while). I have 11K hours played and it still took me more than ten minutes to figure out how to get the right weapon setup on my thief… Things certainly disappear from my memory quickly, although my muscle memory still seems to be there, mostly.
I mainly spent the time opening birthday presents for my 24 characters, but also ran around Metrica, the Asura starter area, to see if I could remember anything, and it turned out I could remember enough to help a newbie, so we ran around for a while.
It doesn’t really seem like much has happened in all those months. I know there are numerous Living World episodes I haven’t played, and a lot of content in those, but no new classes or elites or such.
