Always nice to hear any Minecraft-stories. I’m getting the urge to go back to my recent attempt at recreating my old castle.
But for now I have mostly been playing Mask of the Betrayer the last few days. I still seem to have left a good chunk of Act II, yet I’m already up at about 30 hours, which supposedely is the time in which people finished the whole campaign. Not that I’m surprised.
In any case, aside from rather enjoying the Ashenwood-area and its story-conclusion I have gone back to the Vault of Myrkul in Shadow Mulsantir and quickly got stuck at a tough fight against two Ancient Vampires, two Death Lords, two Mummies and a Lich King. After some failed attempts I seem to have gotten lucky with something, possibly a Disintegrate or Sunburst, since one of the Vampire Ancients fell over after receiving 340 damage right at the start of the fight and I was able to focus down one of the Death Lords just as quickly. In the other attempts at the fight I usually ended up with a whole lot of silenced, stunned, paralyzed, dazed characters that couldn’t do much anymore. In most cases I couldn’t even try to dispell anything and the one time I could, neither Greater Dispell nor Freedom of Movment worked. Though I admittedely also might have made the fight tougher by using Harm against them. And since that does Negative Energy damage which acts as a heal for undead creatures… Well, I might have healed up some of them during the fight.
