More or less finished with **Revenge of the Titans. **I didn’t beat the last boss, but I feel like I’m done with it. There is nothing after it, so there seemed little point in putting in a few more tries. All in all, I liked it. It was a good challenge and both research and building placement matter a lot. It was quite hard at times, but it’s not the kind of diffculty that personally annoys me.
Other than that, I have been levelling an Ice Mage/Archer-Hybrid in **Din’s Curse. **The idea was simple and my reasoning apparently was sound. Ice Storm + Bow Mastery have proven more than enough to deal with almost anything. The only challenging battle I’ve had so far, was against a group of bosses. Also the only time where I ran out of mana so far (kiting them around with Ice Storms). I have also tried to set up a summoner-type character, but though I’m usually a fan of these kind of classes in ARPGs, I don’t really like the pet-AI and the targetting (for healing) in DC.
Also put a few hours into **Minecraft **for the first time in years. I have set up a small stone house at the edge of a snowed-in mountain top and have built a bridge across to a rock needle, where a ladder leads down to ground level and the nearby sea. My overall goal in this world is to create something similar to the fortress I had once built and to eventually connect the different locations with secured ways, underground networks and so on. Not sure how to best start the fortress so far. There is a bay nearby and since I need water for my crops, I will probably set up the central living unit beside the water.
