But yeah, my fondness for Nexus Polaris might really be mostly based on a mixture of nostalgia, ignorance (*) and hilarious memories of playful defiance. It arrived at a time where i often found myself on concerts surrounded by people in stereotypical transilvanian hunger and filosofem t-shirts, so discussing the musical merits of nexus polaris with those people was my equivalent of this generations fondness for rooftop parkour. good memories!
(*: i have a lot of blank spaces in my black metal curriculum since i come from more of a crust punk, grindcore and stoner/doom background - i just got dragged to a LOT of black metal concerts in my early twenties, since that was the only thing to do on weekends around here back then.)
