What Nalano forgets is that mayors and city councils require and pay (from the city budget, of course) for those pointless show-offs (yes, with the help of intermediaries, the urban planners who designate the locations, yes). They are the Gucci and Luis Vuittons of city built space. No one contradicts that but the crowds of turists herding to see them, as if they meant anything more than “a building slightly different, gratuitously”.
