Tarkov again… no the greatest quality of shots and I apologise for that. Tarkov doesn’t look too good on lowest possible settings but truth be told it doesn’t look good in static anyway, especially firefights look blurry and digital-ish (because game sharpens the image greatly when painkillers are used and it’s a common thing to pop some pills before the fight).
For once had a pretty good raid. I was at top of new construction when two people rolled in, shooting stuff and making a lot of noise. First one got upstairs and I immediately shot him in the face, threw a grenade donwn the staris for good measure. I was afraid to loot him because I still heard noises, I kind of knew whoever was left would probably use a different staircase next so I held an angle. Unfortunately I missed an opportunity when I saw a head pop up. Ended up in a messy firefight exchanging fire without much sense and throwing nades randomly. We both disengaged for a moment. I had a second to loot (grabbed an m4 w/ an m995 drum and gen4 vest, both a substantial upgrade for my stuff), the other guy was probably flanking me at the same time. So I repositioned and held a different angle. Eventually I heard some footsteps, I was 100% sure I was about to ambush him, but he somehow knew and bounced a grenade exactly were I was. Luckily it was a cheaper RGD grenade with 3 sec fuse so I had time to relocate though I was under fire. Long story short I managed to get a good spray, he died. On my way out I found a body of a PMC with similarly kitted m4. Only when I was on the ending screen I learned that I blew him up with a stray grenade. So it was either a 1v3 or two separate fights 1v1 and 1v2. All in all, that rarely happens to me.
In Tarkov there is a quest to kill a boss, grab his golden pistol and get out. I failed it many times, usually boss doesn’t even spawn or spawns in Dorms where I just don’t go (too much activity there) and sometimes boss spanws without a pistol. Long story short I died two or three rimes trying to get out with the golden gun. I wasn’t being greedy just took a pistol and ran towards the exit. Every time there was a super-gamer with ak74m and 7n3 ammo hiding between me and the exfil. Eventually I got lucky, had to ruin someone else’s fun though. Two low-to-moderately geared PMCs killed all four boss bodyguards and I only had to kill them (got a jump on them) and the boss himself who was hiding. Grabbed only the essential stuff and got out.
Dude rocking a ww2 submachinegun w/ an Altyn helmet he picked up from bodyguards.
Also it’s the same place as last raid. Gotta call it ‘my lucky staircase’ or something.
The other one tried to disengage so I pushed him, broke both legs while dropping down the flight of stairs.
Reshala aka Customs Boss. Had an ak-102 w/ m995 rounds (about 200k+ on flea market), a lab card (250k+) and a physical bitcoin (200k+). Finally my wallet got a boost after loosing a lot of stuff.
So how did I spend the money again?
I really hate bringing 1.5 mil kit for a factory run but how else do I complete Test Drive quest without losing a fully kitted m1a w/ REAP-IR scope?
So far so good, though I must say these guys had me for a moment (can barely see and can’t hear at all) but failed to capitalise. Sure I had a better armor but they also brought some trash ammo (Lvl 5th armor and fully kitted m4 w/ m855 cartridge. Why?).
Didn’t see the guy behind the forklift until it was way too late. If he had m995 or m855a1 I’d be dead.
Pushed him, grabbed some stuff and just got out.
Three more to go. Then I can just sell the “Chad gear” and continue normally (4th armor and AKMs w/ bp ammo).
Woods. Trying to complete a quest to kill three PMCs in one raid using only bolt action rifles. Eventually got it. Red dot sight on a bolt rifle was a way to go for me. Lucky not to encounter a group of 2-3 PMCs of course.
This one was checking a stash, saw me too late.
Traced him through a bush. Poor guy was level 2. But I really needed that third kill. I even installed a scope from the second PMC to get a better vision. Didn’t use it in 4x mode though for some reason. I hate 4x scopes to be honest.
Yay! Completely useless achievment!
Some random shots. This was a 95m headshot (I needed a 100+m headshot for a quest, oh well).
This guy just ran past me. I messed with some settings and unbinded LMB to fire somehow. So he just went on his adventure while I hid my stuff in a bush and ran away towards the exit.
For once I won a “sniper duel”.
Aaaand a random picture.
