Some heavily, heavily modded Fallout 4.
(Excuse the HUD. Better quality shots will come in a month or so when I’ve built my new rig and can finally crank everything up to 2560x1440 Ultra goodness.)
All these are works in progress, not final builds.
So a while back, I posted this shot of a house I’d built at Sanctuary.
I thought I could do better, so I pulled the whole thing down and built another one.
Kitchen and dining.
Most mods I’ve used are lore friendly, but there are some I just couldn’t resist.
Bedroom, with animated fishtank.
Used the flammable oil trap to simulate a dodgy old bike in mid-repair.
Need to fix that garage roof texture, and somehow turn down the sun because that reflection on the white pool tiles is knocking out all the detail.
This is going to be the settler apartments when I put beds in there.
Main street, Sanctuary bridge is to the south of this. Not happy with those lamp posts, I might ditch them and have power cables stretched between the top of the buildings and place lightbulbs hanging off them, make it look more festive. And less plain walls, obviously.
Things I have yet to even start building:
The clinic, where Doctor Sheffield will constantly tell you to give up alcohol and try Nuka Cola instead.
Companion apartment complex, with the exception of Strong because he can go elsewhere.
The community greenhouse, where there will be animated, snappable sprinkler pipes above the planters.
A large pool built specifically to have water purifiers placed in it.
A buildable fishing boat that produces food, where Marcy will be consigned to toil away, and I will put her bed on it as well so she can live outside the walls, because fuck Marcy.
So far Main Street has individual stores for clothing, armour, weapons, general trade, a barber, and a Minutemen themed police station.
I built everything up on the stackable concrete blocks because I wasn’t happy with the remaining bits of grass poking up through building floors, so I just built higher to start with and I’ve ended up paving over damn near the whole place. I have this horrible feeling that once I venture out and people start coming in, I’ll wake up to find half of Trashcan Carla and her Brahmin clipping through the floor.
