Time for more Dragon Age Inquisition.
Yes, they all come from the same playthrough. At one point I got fed up with the lightning bugs the Frostbite engine has with white surfaces, so I went to the Black Emporium and turned my white-haired inquisitor into a black-haired, vaguely arab/mediterranean lady. I actually like her better that way. (headcannon explanation are the good 10 hours I’ve spent in the Western Approach and the Hissing Wastes. Desert will do that to people. I guess.)
Also for some reason I uploaded these images that were originally in 1080p from a computer with a 720p resolution and they’ve been included in 720p. Go figure.
Eluvian Crossroads, aka the moment where DA magic goes all BUT WHAT IF THERE WERE PARALLEL DIMENSIONS then proceeds to never talk about that again.
If there’s one thing the Frostbite engine is good at, it’s deserts.
My Inquisitor likes setting stuff on fire.
As I said.
I talked about stained glasses before, but religious paintings in DAI are actually nice too.
This one, found in Halamshiral’s Winter Palace interesting because it’s actual propaganda. It pictures Andraste (aka Jesus) with the traitor Maferath (aka Judas Iscariot) and a figure wearing a Chantry outfit…but the Chantry only appeared a few hundred years after Andraste’s death. It’s a prime example of the Orlesian narrative that tries to make the Chantry appear as Andraste’s creation and will.
Of course, theological disputes can be settled by dancing…
Or by brutally dispatching your contradictors with FIRE.
Dorian, Inquisitor, Varric. I call this pary the Fabulous Three. (Sorry Cassandra, really.)
As I said, I became fed up with the lightning bugs with white hair and pale skin.
Yes I added a bit of make-up. Because Frostbite still can’t correctly handle clear skin textures.
The Hissing Wastes have some kind of a Far Cry 2 vibe to me. Perhaps it’s the savannah and gigantic moon.
Wow, that was kind of a big post. Hope it doesn’t look like a simple screenshot dump !
