Tarkov got wiped two weeks ago, everyone is poor now. Also flea market now locked until level 20. Which means hello stock AKs and old friend SKS with PS rounds.
I didn’t try to farm Killa (boss of an Interchange map) on purpose, but bumped into him and somehow managed to win (a lot of leg shots with bad ammo, good thing he also didn’t have his RPK).
First 100m headshot on Customs.SKS is pretty good for this AND people still don’t expect to get sniped this early in the wipe.
Second one, same map, different raid.
First one on Woods map.
Developers forced player scavs (players who drop into an existing raid with a pretty poor random kit) to cooperate. Used to be kill on sight, now random people are banding into smal lscav armies, I tried bartering with others and it sometimes work. Pretty scary for PMCs who don’t exfil after 10 minutes into the raid (but lets be clear, most do and map belongs to player scavs until raid ends).
This one time our scav brigade got jumped on by another such group. It was chaotic but fun at least.
First cultist (really rare kind of bots who sometimes spawn at night on certain maps, armed very well and have some other goodies like poisoned knives) I ever saw on Customs and managed to win in a fight.
Night raids are fun but I mostly die. Like this one time, got the first one, second one got me.
Sometimes this game looks almost good (compression is pretty bad though).
Aaaand a lot of dorms pvp. I used to hate dorms, my first wipe I got completely blasted every time I got there by people with good gear and map knowledge. Now I guess I do the same to others. Vicious cycle at work.
First time winning against two really geared PMCs. First one was really unlucky, was closing the door when I rushed in. Second one had a good AK and armor piercing ammo but up close MP7 with budget round just shreds everything due to a higher RPM, also I got better at noscoping people in the face in close combat.
That one raid was a rollercoaster. It was me, a relatively well armed duo and a random lvl2 player in three-stories dorm and there was a Boss there with his retinue. Somehow managed to be the last one standing. This is why I play Tarkov I guess, surely I die 50% of the time (to be fair most of my successful runs are strictly PvE) but sometimes, once in a while, an entire raid happens where everything goes right (also I had better kit and ammo, so no surprise there really).
This one camped a restroom where I dropped the bag (the same bag that I grabbed from a PMC from previous screenshot). Good thing I grabbed level 5 armor from a boss guard, it held remarkably well (god help me if that one person had BP rounds).
Carrying 60kg worth of loot to the exit (mostly boss stuff, mid tier ak-s with ok ammo, some good armor and helmets). I was so stressed I forgot to unlock the Marked room. Could have thrown away some stuff and get a case or something expensive like RSASS (which goes for a lot of money early in the wipe) or a GPU (for a quest). Oh well. Next time.
Just once I didn’t properly check the room, and started reloading. It was pretty dark, I didn’t notice anything until a shotgun started blasting, thankfully regular slugs don’t penetrate level 3-4 armor. Should have gone for the legs.
Same raid, 5min before. Managed to outflank a duo.
