Mid and top are similar in that they both feature a repeat of Humble’s and a game that’s new to bundles: Minit was already in April 2019’s Monthly as well as the Day of the Devs 2018 bundle.
edit: Battle Chef Brigade was in September 2018 and Jumbo 12.
All in all, if you want Minit on Steam, top tier is still decent value, what with it never having gone under 5 cu… but this year’s DoD does appear lower profile than 2018’s.
Of course, some may remember me saying Humble Bundles lost their flagship status for …what? close to 4 years running, I’m afraid? Not too long after Monthly’s inception in late 2015, in other words.
With Monthly Choice on the horizon I’m wondering whether the resizing of regular Humble bundles has already reached the full extent of its swing.
Regular Humbles do serve a number of purposes, and one of them would be providing a price anchoring point to make Monthly look like a no-brainer; this last bundle has 6 games for $9, so… sure, there is still room to cut down, but I don’t know if they can push it further than this…
With that having been said, and sounding perhaps quite negative, I still do like this bundle: it’s no HIB IV, sure, however, realistically, you don’t see selections like this one elsewhere, at this price.
