For me they are 2 good but games.
Kingdom is great to look at, the forest are stunning, its wonderful to walk through the towns to sell your game and leather and see a living town but I didn’t like the combat at all. It felt heavy and slow. I know its meant to be realistic but it just didn’t click for me and there are moments where you have to fight bosses. It killed the game. There is also the matter of the lead devs comments and views, its been a whole thing that I can’t be bother to rehash but had I known it before I kickstarted it, I would have skipped.
Surviving Mars is a city builder on mars. Its nice, works well, looks good but for me lacked that just one more minute feeling of Frostpunk or Dawn of Man or calmness of Megaquarium.
If you are after both it a great deal, its a better deal if you are just after Kingdom but I can’t definitely see why they revealed both.
