Scanned through your pledges and you’ve committed one of the core Kickstarter sins.
Do not put meaningful or game altering content behind pledge-walls (a.k.a. Kickstart 2 win)
At the 40 dollar mark you’ve added an additional backer only mission plus weapon, that’s … meh, but that’s not what really bugs me.
At the two hundred and fifty dollar mark you’ve added a research tree which is going to be locked off only to people who stump up that kind of pledge and at the five hundred dollar mark you throw in “a special mission with an alien artifact that greatly enhances the fatigue recovery process of your aquanauts, available only for your special game version.”
Backer / pledge type projects should have tiers that “add to” the game content for everyone, and you have some of those, but they should never have tiers that actively carve off elements of the game and place them in a little box saying “You have to pay this much to get the full game”, that’s the kind of skeevy stuff you get from Ubisoft and their raft of different versions which may or may not have all the content in or EA with their ever increasing “Digital Deluxe” and “Gold” versions and so on.
I will be recommending against anyone going near this, bad practices do not deserve support.
