So I ordered up some PRAWN finally, got a nuclear reactor running my base, set up permanent, renewable, and easy-to-gather sources of food, water, and growable materials and am ready to start some exploration of the deeps in earnest. PRAWN upgrades require materials I’ve never seen, so I’m off to find those.
Question: Is is decadent to have two moonpools? One for the PRAWN and one for the Seamoth?
2nd question: Is it dumb that I played the game for 20 hours before I figured out that you can jump? And I love little touches like if you jump on a bed, you bounce higher.
This is the most addictive and rewarding game I’ve played in a long time. It’s perfectly paced–you always have a goal in mind, you’re always getting upgrades, and you really do become more and more capable all the time. The only major setback I’ve had was when a Reaper crushed my Seamoth with a storage locker full of equipment on board. And even that didn’t take too long to recover from.
