Yep. Pretty sure some other ones have been banned too, but Steam doesn’t put any info out about it.
My point is many reasonable things can “look bad” is you don’t actually look into them. Thus I tend to look into this sort of thing. I am aware I am virtually alone in this!
As well as what Catsiel said, the user also edited in “no multiculturalism here!” on the description (long after uploading it), which is a racist dog-whistle akin to putting ((())) around Jewish people’s names to highlight them for racists (particularly obvious when you realize culture and skin colour have little/no connection).
Not everyone can be expected to recognise this stuff but it’d be nice if they reserved judgment briefly rather than lying on the floor and shrieking about “FREEZE PEACH!” (not that you are but good grief some people were in various places). Given the amount of ridiculous self-righteous indignation a certain section of gamers generate over any kind of perceived censorship by developers/publishers (esp. if they think it’s for the sake of people who aren’t white, male and straight), there’s little hope though.
(What always seems weird to me is a lot of the people screaming loudest about censorship are from countries which censor political and other speech heavily, and those mad about games being censored often even approve of that! So it’s okay to censor dissidents or LGBT people, but not pervy Japanese touching games, say. Quite an odd pathology.)
