(Guess I have to give up resisting and see if I can cope with the new forum software…).
Got a 1050ti some time ago which means I can use Shadowplay and that’s quite nice. Most of the recordings I make are of Guild Wars 2 and that means, unless I’ve really prepared myself for recording, which I rarely have, that there’s a chat window in the videos. I’d like to be able to cover that in editing, but the editors I’ve tried so far all make it rather more complicated than it seems like it has to be (I basically just need to either blur it or put a still image over it). And with as little loss in quality as possible, of course.
I don’t think I’ll need any fancy transitions or anything like that. Just very basic editing.
Also, since Shadowplay uses variable bitrate, the editor needs to be able to handle that without desyncing stuff (not a problem I’ve had so far, but I gather some of the most expensive editing suites, like Adobe’s, can’t manage it).
Of course, cheap or free would be nice too.
I’m on Windows 8.1 (64).
