Our Clan, Rock Paper Tenno Skana, has been steadily growing since it was founded over two years ago. We are approaching the current member cap (as I write this, there’s only capacity left for 2 more members), so it is time we make a decision about our future.
As I see it, our only options are:
(1) Build new Barracks in the Dojo to become a Moon Clan and increase the max size to 1000 (a process that is irreversible)
(2) Expel from the Clan some of the inactive players that (possibly) have abandoned the game (a few at a time, i.e. 5 - enough to leave a sufficient empty “buffer” that guarantees that no new recruit needs to wait until I’m around to be able to join us)
Taking option (1) implies multiplying the costs of any future Dojo research, as well as the costs of construction/decoration, so I would advise against doing that.
Option (2), while it’s not the most optimal, would mean that we can keep the current costs - which are more or less acceptable for the number of our active players - and even tip the active/inactive ratio towards an improved proportion.
My suggestion, therefore, is to take option (2) and start removing those players that haven’t logged into the game for the longest time AND that played very few hours (meaning, they didn’t really invest themselves too much into the game and have the lowest chance of ever coming back).
I didn’t want to take any action unilaterally without consulting you, so… What do you think? Is (2) an acceptable solution to the current issue?
@Blackcompany: Hey, Merc, I’ll gladly join you for those Vault runs if I’m around.
