I’'ve just sent invites to @SkippyMcGee, @TeddyDK and Warrender. Sorry for the delay, but we’ve kinda reached the overcrowded limit in the clan.
More of this in a moment, but first I want to make a clarification for @Winged_Nazgul (and everybody else who is reading this): we have no specific US-clan but no matter what your time zone is you probably will find other members online to play with or ask for help.
Research Proxy Satellite, the affectionately called ‘sister clan’, was originally born as a reaction to the Hema research debacle, but was also intended as a way to have a ‘clan’ bigger than 100 members without having to increase the research burden as well. And it seems we’re
almost at the point where we need to take advantage of the extra capacity provided by RPSatellite. Our “revolving door” policy (removing the longest inactive person to accomodate a new member) has served us well for the past year, but with the increased interest after the Plains of Eidolon arrival we’ve virtually run out of inactive players ( there’s just one more person left that hasn’t logged at least once after PoE launched not anymore, all the remaining members have been active in the period after PoE launched), and that means no more reasonable room left in RPSkana.
We’ve been taking care of RPSatellite on the side all this time and thus it has almost all the important research done (it’s only missing a couple of the most recent weapons). The only thing that will be permanently unavailable - compared to RPSkana - will be the Ignis Wraith research, but the blueprint can be easily traded so no one will miss out on the weapon itself.
In the end, the goal of the RPS clan is to have a friendly space to find people to play with and get into some space ninja hijinks, so we’ve also come up with the idea of creating an RPS Alliance (anyone has a good name suggestion?) that will be the ‘umbrella’ that blends both clans together. In this way, we will use the Ally Chat tab as the standard channel to communicate in-game and everybody will be able to participate.
