What the hell - I’ve been really enjoying the game but I just ran slap bang into a brick wall with Dominus’s second form. Leaving out the debate over “omg so OP” / “nuh uh, lern2play”, etc., if there’s any RockPaperShotgun people who could give me a hand that’d be greatly appreciated. Invites or parties or whatever; it’s either that or I start grabbing randoms, basically, because there’s no way this character is getting past Dominus by herself. Ever. Running a Ranger, currently at level 40, still on normal difficulty.

EDIT: It would probably help if I mentioned I’m **eightrooks **on Steam and (currently) Tinhinan on PoE.

Do you guys plan on making a guild on the new challenge leagues? I kinda stopped playing a few weeks ago but want to get back into it now that patch time is nigh.

Also, @Eight Rooks, playing with randoms is the only way I ever killed Dominus, which I did a number of times on the old HC league. Sadly I don’t think I have any high enough lvl characters in Standard. If you’re in Hardcore, thought, my lvl 57 ranger would be glad to help =)

EDIT: I forgot to mention, my Steam name is SandmanXC. I have no idea what I’ll name my character('s).

Thought I’d bump this thread now that the new expansion is out. Many RPSers playing PoE these days? I’ve been sinking some serious hours in since Forsaken Masters was released. Mostly leveling a multi-curse summoner (awesome) but also trying out some new stuff like Lightning Strike Shadow, which has been fun so far.

I’ve been playing, and the guild is somewhat active. I’m focusing on a basic dual flame totem Templar build, since I had never played totem builds before. Currently in act 1 merciless, and doing very well. I really like the masters, but Rampage itself is a disappointment.

I’m playing, though I’m somewhat disappointed with the new expansion - it’s not so much that I think it’s bad, more that I simply haven’t seen much of anything new appear. Eh, I’m still having fun with the game. I’m eightrooks on Steam if anyone would like to add me/send me a guild invite or whatever.

A few of us have been running a daily missions rotation most nights with Elreons, Catarinas and Zanas. Also we managed a run of Mao Kun, the unique Fairgraves map, the other night after a lucky drop. Has been good fun - and always room for more RPSers!

Hi! I would love to join the guild. I have a bunch of HC Normal chars and a Arc Witch in HC Cruel act 3 just before Piety. Are you guys mainly in Beyond? If so, I could probably get a char into cruel by this weekend…

Thanks Rooks, at this stage I’m looking into options since I’m trying to follow John’s suggestion and start playing with other people.

T2 would have been my first pick given my familiarity with that game, but it seems there’s very little going on online at this point and was hoping PoE to be a bit livelier.

Not many people are playing regularly, unfortunately. I still play, Procrastination Giant as well, and a couple of others. I think activity will resume in earnest when act 4 is released in a couple of months.
