I was able to buy my first exotic a few days ago. It’s not the first I run into, I had one literally take off in front of me not long before, and of course previously I didn’t have the cash (they’re not expensive, tho).
It’s a guppy, with tail and everything:
Despite looking Explorer-class, she’s a shockingly capable fighter. I really want to get an S-Class Fighter sooner or later, but I suppose it will be just a space truck with a case of bad temper. This guppy would kick its ass on any given Sunday.
Here’s the rest of my stable:
The Hand, an A-Class Huge-Ass Hauler:
I spent upwards of 90 millions on this baby - it’s just slightly less expensive than my B-Class Full-Size Sentinel Freighter (which I didn’t pay for, but that’s a different story) …and has more inventory slots to boot! I don’t know if it’s been money well spent, possibly not. Would rather fly a huge-ass fighter TBH. It looks kind of cool, though, if you’re into space trucks.
This odd-looking contraption is The Dream, my S-Class Explorer. It’s currently outfitted as a general purpose ship, but this is going to change now that I have the guppy, to boost its already impressive Warp range. Its cargo hold is too small to have much use, other than as personal transportation. Or why it was so cheap despite being an S-Class.
And finally my daily driver - The Triumph, also informally known as the All Legs. This S-Class Shuttle replaced the MamaCoup (A-Class shuttle or Space Lorry as I thought of it), my first real ship after the Radiant BC1. That was a wreck I found lying around and slowly restored to function - much more compact and cute-looking than the Triumph.
I kept the MamaCoup parked in the freighter for a while, but ultimately it was dismantled and melted for scrap, there was no reason to keep it around anymore other than the weird relationship that is sometimes established between a man and his trusty ride of many adventures. RIP MamaCoup.
(Apologies for the sorry quality.)
