Lot of blueprints are now moved from endless exploring abandoned bases, wich dropped rng blueprints. Now you can just buy them for nanites. Must say this is really an improvement. And before anyone says “but thats also a grind” I just earned 100 nanites by just scanning 4 plants, yeah, its that easy. Warp reactor Tau (wich expands your jump range another 200 ly (take that ED) you can now buy for a measly 400 nanites, and also gives you access to exotic worlds.
the new mission structure is pretty rewarding, with 100 nanites (1 cluster) rewards or straight money rewards up to half a mil, for pretty mundane tasks, scanning stuff, killing pirates, gathering certain goods, ect. Some missions are gated behind reputation towards the local rulers of that system.
the base mission structure is also redone, and everyone apperently has to go through it again. It rewards now also a lot more blueprints then previously, also the missions themselves are also redone, loved the Korvax scientist chain where you to had to erase/reboot their memory core each time to give you new blueprints.
the crashed freighters, I found also one, and the rewards are okish. There are around 6 crates wich you have to digup and repair (few mins work to collect, and frankly you should have always a stack of iron/carbon/heridium on you, its stuff that is abundant on most worlds). the rewards are around 20k currency, or 20 nanites per crate. The freighters themselves are not repairable, so only intresting for loot.
Combat is also less difficult (was it?), because the shields regen now. Before you had to resuplly your shields with zinc, now they regen pretty quickly, I think you have to be out of combat though.
The flight model is also slightly altered, for atmospheric flight you can now crash and fly really low, also the thrust is a bit different, before you could go 150 u/s, now max is 80 u/s, but you can now boost it, up to 150 u/s in atmosphere and 1200 u/s in space. Im using more boost now.
There are now also so called Exotic Ships drop? I havent seen one myself, some people have seen then, they are really good at one thing speed/combat/freight. Also love the new designs
EDIT: oh ja, almost forgot. You can now call your ship, anywhere on the planet. So no more slogs to base where you have a recall point for your ship. Nope, you can plonk down your ship anywhere, basicly also gives you a save anywhere button (since when you exit the ship, it saves).
Also yeah everything had a retexture:
and found my first paradise planet!
