Here they’re going to open schools (only the lowest grades) and childcare after Easter, at the same time as a doctor is telling families with children that now they can expect to get the virus.
I can’t tell if there’s actual scientific thinking behind that (and some doctors seem rather too uncertain about it too) or if they’re just flailing because of the pressure to reopen things.
I can’t see how we can possibly know enough yet to determine if it’s a good idea to start reopening.
yeh, it can’t be easy. I know there’s a family with two small kids a few floors up in my building and their apartment is the same size as mine (usually families get the larger apartments here, but they haven’t for some reason, so they only have a living room and a bed room). That must be an experience.
I’ve had severe social anxiety for the past 26 years and I’ve spent most of that time alone and barely going out, so this is sort of day 9200 or something for me, but of course, it still feels very different now (I’m very talented when it comes to worrying about my parents, for one thing, but having to worry about this thing is different from the usual stuff).
