Ahah. Thx for the reminder of Baba is You. It’s one of those games I meant to stick on the wishlist and then forgot. 7th sector looks like cyberpunk Inside.
Maybe it’s because I’m dumb, or because Valve is hiding it, or because they have crap web design, but I looked at the front page and thought ‘thank god they don’t have another of those stupid games this time’ because there is no obvious link to the Grand Prix and it’s not immediately obvious that the header image is clickable.
Now I’ve clicked it and tried to read the rules without my eyes glazing over, I’ve decided I don’t care. Luckily I have the rules to explain to me that
“Additionally, for every you spend on Steam, you will upgrade the capacity of your Boost Meter by 0 points.”
I’ll check my wishlist when I get home and see if there’s anything that stands out. Without the wishlist, steam sales are impenetrable. I’ll also get 100s of ITAD alerts I guess.
(Side question: Does anyone know if ITAD has any way to (a) show only “New Low” prices, and (b) limit things like low prices to the last x years?
For example, it’d be really useful to get a list of games that are at the lowest they’ve ever been in the last 5 years. )
Putty Pals looks like the kind of fun local co-op game I could play with my kids… which is my main criteria these days.
I’m kinda considering buying Firewatch again though… I had to refund it last year because the performance was too slow on my old PC.
But I really don’t need to buy any more games given the number of freebies I’ve received recently. I should probably just play
Subnautica Oxenfree Stories Untold Transistor instead.
