I for one am very impressed because I think I got annoyed with the bot about 1/3rd of the way through the basic tutorial and gave up.

I am surprised by this as well, is it something new or did I miss something obvious ? Wouldn’t be my first time to be honest.

The forum bugged me about it when it first switched over.
I got about half way through the basic one before getting bored.

Definitely not new. I wouldn’t exclude the possibility that some users were not offered it, though.

If you want to take a look at it, the official Discourse site has a “sandbox” forum used for demoing the software, where anybody can register a new user and their discobot will take it through the tutorial.

I think they reset their sandbox every day, though, so make sure to satisfy your curiosity before it all turns into a pumpkin!

Interesting, it probably thought I would be too clueless to complete the tutorial and so decided it best not to waste time with me . Seriously though, thanks for the explanation alms, I am curious but not quite enough to bother with this, meaning my laziness wins once again over my curiosity.
