Played this at a friends house and cannot for the life of me figure out what it was. I know I played it around November 2001 so it could have not been released any later than that.
Played on Windows 98, sci fi RTS that probably came out between 1997-2001.
It was more or less isometric. I distinctly remember it had 3D unit graphics which rules out a lot of RTSs from that time, Graphically it was very similar to Warzone 2100 (but was not that game)
I distinctly remember two things: hovering tanks of some sort and a key building you could construct which had a big rotating antenna or something on top.
In hindsight it was a pretty run of the mill CNC clone as far as I can remember. I think it can be identified though process of elimination. It was something with 3D unit graphics released prior to November 2001. It was not a big franchise like CNC or StarCraft. Having extensively YouTubed every sci fi RTS from that period I can find, I can also say it is definitely NOT one of a title from any of the following series (so for example it isn’t Ground Control 1 or 2).
War zone 2100
Dogs of War
State of War
Conquest Frontier Wars
