Apparently Ubisoft is giving away a game per day, but since I only just found out, I don’t know what I’ve missed. Right now it’s Starlink: Battle For Atlas (which I’ve never heard about, but it’s from 2018, so not just some old stuff).

It seems to be a slightly No Man’s Sky type game from the switch, but not procedural and more combat oriented.
Reviews seem to say it’s good, but a bit 'ubisoft-sandbox-with-repetitive-things-to-do’
It was also apparently majorly overpriced with very overpriced DLC, but I guess getting it free at least partially negates that.
The steam version is 34 quid for standard, 50 for deluxe, with 62(!!) quid of DLC.

If you have Ubisoft Connect installed then the easiest way to claim it seems to be to start that up and click on the Happy Holidays link in the top menu bar.

The steam version has Denuvo, dunno about this.

Some great bargains to be had on the old Epic sale. These are in real money, Euros and the prices may not work in the fake money like Pounds or Dollars.

Airborne Kingdom, just released is €16.79 and with the coupon comes to €6.79. Its a dfiferent take on the city builder, you build a flying city that moves around to collect resources and unite the kingdom. Tilt and lift are important to consider when building.

Bugsnax is €16.99 and with the coupon €6.99. You hunt delicious half bug half snack creatures Bugsnax as you reunite the islands camp mates and look for their intrepid leader Elizabert Megafig. You have to figure out how to to hunt the creatures with traps and bait.

Ghostrunner is €22.49 and with the coupon €12.49. You play as a ghostrunner, a cyborg ninja with a sword and you wallrun and hack and die in a sci fi indoor city as you climb up the levels to hunt the keymaster.

Hammerting is €19.99 and with the coupon €9.99. EARLY ACCESS. Side on colony building with dwarfs, can be fun but also buggy

The Red Lantern is €15.99 and with the coupon €5.99. A roguelike? game where you lead a sled team in Alaska and try to find your place in the world. Everytime you die you wake up at the start remembering to bring some more supplies or an axe.

Star Wars Squadrons is €23.99 and with the coupon €13.99. A brilliant new Star Wars flight sim, good story and decent multiplayer, needs origins or EA Play or whatever it is.

As Far As The Eye is €15.74 and with the coupon €5.74. A different take on the hex turn based strategy genre, you lead a group of survivors trying to make it a safe place before the floods, harvesting resources and making hard choices.

Disco Elysium is €23.99 and with the coupon €13.99. The best RPG from the last 5 years maybe? Lots of text but its simply brilliant.

Satisfactory is €23.99 and with the coupon €13.99. First person factory building that will get its hooks into you and you will lose days.
