The Bethesda Launcher is a bit naff, isn’t it. I guess it’s good that it doesn’t try to do too much, but most of the menu options on the top bar (Community, Support, Shop, etc…) just launch your web browser and the right bar shows a bunch of games I don’t own and I have to open up the extra sidebar each time to get to my games.
It’s no worse than the Blizzard Launcher I guess. I suppose these launchers that are for companies with a handful of games are going for something different than store launchers like Steam/Gog/Epic which are more fully featured.
It might be my region, but it’s a bit odd in the game selection. Doom Eternal is there, but not Doom (2016). (I think…there are about 5 different games called Doom, but I don’t think it’s one of them.
Dishonored 2 and Death of the Outsider are there, but not Dishonored 1. Fallout 3 is there, but not new vegas or 4.
No Skyrim either.
It’s also a shame they don’t have many of the old Bethesda games, though that might be partly down to licensing or a lack of interest.
It’s also a shame you don’t seem to be able to register cd keys of their games.
On the plus side, if you click on the System Requirements it has a button that checks your system to see which ones they meet. I always wondered why steam didn’t implement something like that.
