I was looking into Authy, which sounds good.
At least they have pages that address my worries (namely, privacy and 'if it’s a free service, how do they make money).
My only worries are, if they decide to shut it down or if they get aquihired at some point and then I have to move 100s of keys.
That and the fact that they make money through their API (fair enough) but I don’t want to use their API because it sends location information and I always run into issues with that so I’d just want to use it in standard google-authenticator mode.
I’m surprised there doesn’t seem to be a decent open-source alternative along the lines of Keepass.
