Oh, yes, keeping track of CKII’s DLC’s without that one package was indeed a frustrating nightmare.
Let’s just hope it rears its head again, it cost just $15.-- for the whole batch, too, I mentioned it on this thread at the time.
I don’t think that’s any fault of Humble’s, per se, btw, it’s just Paradox not offering it in one handy package, until that one time they did. Although it’s true I’ll generally revert to the Steam storefront to really make head or tail of a game, in a browser window to make use of tabbed browsing, as opposed to the Steam client I mean.
btw, Regarding my confusion above between Alan Wake and his American Nightmare, my understanding now is they’re two very different games, with RPS’s Natalie Clayton for instance just now calling the latter a “bizarre spin-off.” So I reckon my thoughts on the former have no bearing on the latter; nor could I say how well the latter would play without playing the former, first.
