Me too. Plus the steep system requirements.
I loved games like SSX back in the day and the PC has always been weirdly short of snowboarding games. There’s one other one on steam that has a very similar name to Steep and I keep mixing them up, but that one is f2p I think and apparently microtransactioned to hell.
I just rushed to play through it in my one month Origin Access demo period… now I kinda wish I’d used that time for something else
On the other hand, if it’s a giveaway it’s much more likely to just sit on my backlog forever… at least the time limit pushed me to actually play it. (It’s ok, but not as good as it should be).
I was thinking this was going to be an expensive month due to Lego bundles and Minecraft sales… now there’s even more to deal with!
PS/ The Epic store ‘deals’ are really confusing. The store itself doesn’t help, but since they don’t show the original price or the discount, it just appears to be the $10 off.
I’m pretty sure that in some markets, like the UK, it’s required to show the original price… though I might be wrong, or that might not apply to digital stores.
Either way, a lot of the sale prices with supposedly ‘up to 75% off’ plus $10 off are still higher than I’ve seen them on other stores…
