That’s some classic both-sidism, which only helps shitty companies.
If it feels like I’m judging, let me give the reassurance that I am not: we all (must) make compromises.
However, the one with Epic is one of the most useless around, since their service is vastly inferior to the competition’s and the only way they have to make it look like it’s barely useful is introducing exclusives to PC and engage in marketing wars to make their competitors look bad.
The Lion’s Song isn’t as good as I hoped it would be, it has been free before IIRC (at least Episode 1), and the Season pass dirt cheap, so it’s not even a hard-to-resist deal like when they gave out Subnautica or Edith Finch.
I suspect Mi’pu’mi hasn’t been given more than pocket change for being featured. The only upside to this is that if we spare a dollar to buy the game someplace else, it’s another dollar on top of the two they’ve got from Epic.
