Retro fantasy rpg in an open world, with unusual interesting game mechanics.
You’re a battlemage, but your spells cost health points to cast.
Making them a cost/risk/reward calculation.
Time/Combat only flows (realtime) when you move/act yourself, like in “Superhot”.
You can literally dodge arrows, while having all the time to plan your actions.
Both this aspects and a variety of spells give the combat tactical depth and satisfaction, imho.
Game was released just a few days ago. A bit rough on some edges, but the developer is responsive and patching quickly. Found this indie game by accident (because i was bored) and enjoying it surprisingly a lot.
