I had Aerofly FS2 installed until recently. Much the same story as Elite Dangerous though, lots of potential and big plans that never went anywhere. It’s still in pretty much the same state now as it was when I first bought it back in early access.
I do plan on getting MFS, but I’m waiting for a better internet connection right now before I go for it. Gigaclear did the whole town I live in with fibre to the door, except they missed out a row of 4 houses on my street, one of which is mine. No idea why and they don’t know either. Took me months of pestering to get any info from them. However they have assured me that they still have to come back and finish off a few bits here and when they do, they’ll finally get my property fibred up. It’s been over a year since everyone else was done.
Anyway, once I do get MFS, I might well opt for a yoke instead of a stick. Not sure yet though, as a stick is much more versatile when it comes to other flight and space sim types.
In the meantime, ETS2 is providing most of my VR sim gaming. My old G27 wheel still works well and driving trucks around Europe is most relaxing.
