Using Vivaldi on desktop and it’s indeed pretty good. Unlike many chrome-a-likes, it actually seems to get updated regularly enough.
It does have the odd weirdness, particularly with extensions. (Well, mainly if you’ve enabled window process isolation to protect against Meltdown/Spectre, at which point most extensions and embedded videos don’t work).
Haven’t tried Brave, but that was my second choice.
I gotta say, having used Firefox desktop a bit recently, it seems pretty good too. They seem to have improved it a lot. (Updating to the new version made it all junky - but doing a refresh made it all smooth again).
Used to use Dolphin on android and it wasn’t bad, although a bit janky in the UI at times. I wasn’t sure about the company behind it though.
I may try switching to Firefox on android, or to Edge… basically i just want my address/tabs back at the bottom of the screen where I can actually access them!
I think vivaldi will launch a mobile version this year, it’s just that I expect it to be buggy as hell for the first few versions.
