I’ll dig out the blog post when I’m back on desktop but Factorio is heavily touted for this summer. (although it’s really solid now)

“We’ve said it before, that the game will be finished and released during this year and we mean it this time. There is even the joke in the office that the game is always to be released ‘next summer’, which never comes. But this time we really really mean it, we want to finish the game in 2018. Finishing doesn’t necessary mean no new stuff for Factorio, it might even mean the opposite. Why? Because we will have all of our technology/graphical/design debts paid.”

I’d suggest current Factorio players will be fairly united in confirming this release schedule is not an unrealistic position.

Cultist Simulator is saying May 8th. Its a simulation card game?

Transports is saying 18th of January. Transport Strategy Simulation

My Time At Portia will be coming to Early Access on 23rd of January. Simulation, Farming, Craftin and Pets?

FAR: Lone Sails Q1 2018 Adventure, Survival and Driving?

Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire is allegedly Q1, according to Obsidian. Last date they gave I believe was February, which surprised the hell out of me because I honestly assumed they’d say “actually, it’ll be later in the year”, but they said February in late November.

Personally I’ll be unsurprised if it actually does slip a month or three, but I dunno.

Is the TBA list “TBA 2018” or “TBA The Future”? Because I was unaware CP2077 had been given a release date, even a release year. I mean, we haven’t even seen game footage even screenshots - and with Witcher 3 we didn’t actually get the game until a year and a bit after we saw screenshots and footage. So I’d be super-surprised if we saw it in 2018. Hell I’m not sure I’d expect it for 2019.

I think you’re right that there’s no way in hell that CP2077 is coming 2018. It was probably from some wishful thinking from a marketing person near when that trailer came out in 2013. They released a plan for the company for 2016 - 2021 (still not updated) and list it as 2017-2021, which sounds like “I dunno, sometime.”

Christ, the trailer was 2013? How the fuck fast does time pass? That’s terrifying. Amazing hype retention, though, at least among my peer group, people who don’t even play computer games routinely often mentioned it when we were hanging out over Christmas.

I do expect we will at least see some sort of trailer or gameplay footage in 2018, albeit probably at the back end rather than the front. I mean, it’s a monumental project, given they seem to have goals possibly considerably in excess of GTA V, albeit with more focus on the city (Night City in this case, a fictional West Coast city), and less on the hills/towns around it - even then though, I bet they do have some outside-the-city space, because CP2020 has an entire class dedicated to that kind of thing (Nomads - though obviously they sort of double as the vehicle-oriented class).

Btw I hadn’t even heard of Ashen prior to this thread. It looks pretty amazing, at least potential-wise. I’m always a little anti-hyped about games with awesome visual design but where we know little/nothing about how they actually play, because I’ve been burned a few times too many on that, but it’s hard to resist the hype from that teaser.

I need to see more of Darksiders 3 before I make a decision. I love that series but it looks a bit like more of the same. I was hoping the whip would shake things up but so far it just seems to act like a sword.

Dusk entered Early Access on January 11. Full release “within the next few months”.
From the Steam page:
“DUSK will remain in Early Access until Episode 3 is finished and DUSKWorld multiplayer is what we’d consider ready for a v1.0 public launch. We expect this all to be done within the next few months!”

Rusty Lake Paradise was released 11/01.
