27" 1440p monitor recomendation (Alt title: Currys are utterly useless)

I ordered an LG 27GL850-B monitor from Currys Ireland on black friday, but they emailed me to say that it was out of stock and they were waiting for a restock. Now they’ve cancelled the order because apparently it was a “technical error” that their site listed the monitor as available.

Can anyone recommend an alternative to the LG 27GL850-B?
27" 1440p under €450.

Sidenote - I will never ever order anything from Curries again. They’re the most useless shower of bastards. I had a similar thing happen with VR equipment a couple of years ago. Useless.

I don’t have the 1440p version but I’m incredibly happy with my 27" Acer IPS panel. I have the 1080p version. Here’s the 1440p version on Amazon but you can probably get it elsewhere:

Also agree re: Currys. I always try to avoid Amazon where possible, but if it’s between them and Amazon, I go with Amazon because they’re so useless. Occasionally they’re the only people who say they have stock of something, but given your experience and a similar one of mine, I suspect that’s maybe just to bad stock-tracking or something.
